Joey L., whom we’ve profiled before, was recently asked to do promo photography for the television show It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, including group shots, individual portraits, white seamless shots, an album cover-style shot, and a host of other images. How long did he have to accomplish this? Just one day of shooting or, more precisely, twelve hours.
Joey’s behind-the-scenes post on his blog offers tons of good photo advice on how to work efficiently on set while dealing with cast and crew.
Read the post for lighting diagrams, more details, and Dennis Reynolds (Glenn Howerton) as a sexy tiger.
On Joey’s educational site, he’s offering an “”End of the Y?e?a?r? World Sale” from 1 October 2012 through midnight 31 December 2012. DVDs which were once $199 are now $99. He is also offering a free lesson from Lara Jade Versus Joey L: Photographer Shoot-Off DVD. You can also learn more about this offering on his blog post.
