David Stuart for United Way
PDN just posted a “How I Got that Shot” story about photographer David Stuart’s pro bono job for United Way. The shot also resides on his Web site’s portfolio, along with others from the series.
Stuart used a Canon EOS 5D Mark II and a Profoto Pro-7A pack to capture the elements which were composited in post to create the image. Extensive comping was necessary as the free ad campaign done under the direction of Matthew Sharpe at the Fitzgerald Agency in Atlanta had a limited budget.
Be sure to read the entire piece to see what went into this shot. Visit Stuart’s site for more great work.
