Stating “there are no fast rules,” when it comes to lighting, Smith outlines some general guidelines which help formulate a unique approach to the gear he choses for each portrait based on sex, weight, eyes, skin texture, facial symmetry, etc.
Citing the Profoto Magnum Reflector, Softlight Reflector, and the 7 inch Grid Reflector as critical to achieving key lighting for his various sessions.
