Well-known portrait and celebrity photographer Lynn Goldsmith was assigned to cover “60 Minutes” correspondent Byron Pitts for his new autobiography. The only caveat was that she was not allowed to plug into the studio’s lighting grid.

“That was no problem,” says Lynn, “with the Profoto AcuteB I was able to shoot constantly, on the move the whole time, even in hallways leading into his office. I got stuff I hadn’t even planned. The cute Acute saved the day!”

Lots more photos from Lynn after the break.

The acuteB units work GREAT on location! I use mine all the time. They lit all of my photos for the new album by alt-country star Rhett Miller (out June 9, 2009) I will also be using them next week on the upcoming album shoot for Grammy-nominated band Bowling For Soup, and have used them on Grammy-winners Play N Skillz.

All the shoots require high quality and extreme portability, and my acuteB units provide that!
