Today is the last day of the month. This means that we will dedicate today’s post to revisit April’s most popular posts.
Ian Ruhter’s powerful video Silver & Light got the strongest response, no question about it. Those of you who still have not seen it should definitely do so. We also got a heart warming response to the introduction of our new continuous light sources ProDaylight 200 Air and Prodaylight 400 Air. Together with the new lights, we also introduced a new, more lightweight version of the Cine Reflector. The new products were accompanied by a series of portrait videos filmed by Gordon Andersson. In addition, we launched a new version of the D1 Studio Kit, including three D1 monolights, softboxes, an Air Remote and other handy stuff.
As usual, we kickstarted the month with a Light Shaping Tool of the Month piece. This time we talked to Kristoffer Lönnå and asked him about the inspiring images he creates with the ProRing 2. A few days later, we published an educational video, in which portrait photographer Bambi Cantrell talks about using D1 monolights to overpower the sun. This was followed by Sébastien Devaud’s short film Out of Tunes and a video from Tim Björn’s wireless truck shoot.
Finally, we published an interview with Finnish fashion photographer Ville Paul Paasimaa and a post written by American photographer Ben Garrett, who reminded us of the importance of personal work.
All in all, it was another great month. Stay tuned for tomorrow’s Light Shaping Tool of the Month piece!
