Today is not the last day of the month, but since we have something special reserved for tomorrow, we might as well do this month’s review today.
As usual, we started with a Light Shaping Tool of the Month piece. This time we talked to Joao Carlos and asked him about the spectacular image he created with the help of the Softbox 3×4′ RF. A few days later, it was time for the official release of the Profoto Air Camera Release Cables. The day after that, we published an interview with Richard Booth, who has photographed the athletes for the Paralympic Games 2012.
By a strange coincidence, two videos featuring spectacular shots of sports cars surfaced at almost the same time. First out was Blair Bunting and the Lamborghini Aventador, closely followed by Brian Braun and the McLaren MP4-12c. The second video with George Holz was also published at around the same time. This time, George told the story of his improvised, on-the-fly shoot with Jack Nicholson. Holz was followed by well-received posts on Juan Luis Garcia’s Face Value project, Sasha Leahovcenco’s burning drummer and Alex Hajdu’s Harley Davidson images.
Earlier this week, we rounded of with a study visit at the Bsmart studio in Stockolm and our very first behind-the-cover piece, highlighting Sebastian Reich’s portrait of former Greek prime minister Giorgos Papandreou.
Hope you enjoyed all this as much as we did. See you in April! Or perhaps even tomorrow..?
