Another month has passed, and it is time once again to revisit the recent highlights on our blog.
Selecting a winner is easy. The video in which action photographer and Red Bull Illume winner Marcel Lämmerhirt introduces the new Pro-B4 battery generator is not only this month’s most popular post – it is, in fact, the most viewed post we have ever published on our blog! A couple of days later, we posted an intense and well-received video demonstrating the extremely short flash duration and fast recycling of the Pro-B4.
September was also the month when we introduced our new blog contributor Ian Ruhter. Ian is currently traveling around his home country, photographing the places and the people who live there in a never-before-seen fashion. We will follow him on his journey. You will find the first part of his story here.
Speaking of ongoing series: our very first Light Shaping Tool of the Month video, shot by Finnish fashion photographer Ville Paul Paasimaa, was published on September 1. A must for those of you who are interested in continuous lights and/or the revolutionary Cine Reflector.
We also published an instructive video with Mark Wallace, demonstrating how to create beautiful portraits using reflectors and hard light, and an inspirational video featuring wedding photographer Moshe Zusman, talking about the wonderful work he has created with the help of the D1 monolight.
Other than that, September was very much about Photokina. If you have not seen all the wonderful images that we showed in our booth, you can still find the showreel here.
On Monday, we return with a new Light Shaping Tool of the Month feature.
Have a wonderful weekend!
