Tom Sperduto Goes Early, Stays Late
New Jersey photographer Tom Sperduto posted a great addition to his blog on a magazine assignment at a restaurant location shoot. It’s a case study in real world production environment techniques, best practice, and final results.
Sperduto details his arrival an hour and a half early to set up, work with a sketch, and discuss different possible shots. He provides a true life paying job example of why the old Boy Scout motto is critical to photographers. Be prepared. Arrive early, stay late.
Among other gear, Sperduto employed
- a Profoto AcuteB 600R pack
- a Profoto BatPac
- two Nikon SB-900 AF Speedlight units
