For full 1200 Ws strength you don't need stand alone generators and separate lamp heads. You just need the ComPact 1200, a sleek unit that integrates a very powerful generator right at the back of the lamp head, adding to less than 15 cm in length when compared with the ComPact 600. High-power flashes never came smaller.

Profoto has designed the heads in such a way that the reflectors are possible to slide back and forth on the head allowing you to zoom on and out or to "paint" with the light.

Single unit Profoto light – for everybody

For the portrait/wedding, in-house or part-time photographer, the ComPact family of flash generators, with its integrated lamp head, is the natural choice. Why? Because they give you the renowned Profoto light, quality and Light Shaping Tools at a very affordable price - and a really compact package.

With the recent addition of the R models - with R as in radio sync - the deal got even better. The ComPact family now reaches all the way from the very handy 2.2 kg ComPact 300 to the mighty ComPact 1200R, that gives you 1200 Ws performance and wireless triggering in single unit weighing not even as much 3.9 kg. Just like every other Profoto generator the ComPacts are compatible with the entire range of Profoto Light Shaping Tools and other accessories. So if you need extra gear, you can just call your nearast dealer or rental studio.

Like all Profoto equipment the ComPacts are also designed for heavy-duty use, in terms of durability as well as intelligently placed and shaped knobs, buttons and handles. Simplicity is king! From entry-level to studio power – with or without radio sync

All over the world, Profoto is well-known for serving the high-end photographer with the most advanced light shaping equipment on the market. But Profoto also offers very capable alternatives for the portrait/wedding, in-house or part-time photographer.

The Profoto ComPacts all have one thing in common – they combine a generator and a lamp head in a single unit not much bigger than a regular lamp head. In short, it’s the real Profoto gear, compatible with all the Profoto accessories, but integrated in a single unit.

Both the 300 Ws and 600 Ws ComPacts can be selected in a "special" version with 150 W or 250 W lamp and frosted glass cover (giving you better correspondance between flash and modeling lamp plus serving as a safety cover) or as a ecoomical version with a 100 W tungsten modeling lmap.)

Even though the ComPacts look alike they are not the same. The powerful ComPact 1200R, with it´s 1200 Ws flashes and built-in wireless triggering, for example, is something quite different from the extremely compact and affordable ComPact 300.
