The brand new Giants are here!

The combination of soft shadows and distinct highlights have made the Profoto extra-large reflectors very popular with leading fashion photographers. We’re now introducing a major new product line, Profoto Giants, which is vastly superior to all previous models.

Profoto are proud to introduce the Profoto Giant. Seven new extra large light shaping tools. The new tools offer truly parabolic reflectors with diameters up to
300 cm (10 ft.) and a range of models to suit every need.

The Profoto Giant Reflectors offer the truly parabolic and focusable silver reflectors in three sizes, 180 cm (6 ft.), 240 cm (8 ft.), and 300 cm (10 ft.), for an extra-wide and at the same time crisp and very even light.

Studio-quality light, wherever you go

Advanced photographers often need high-quality light even on location. That’s why Profoto developed the Pro-B2R battery generator, providing studio-quality flash without mains power.

With the Pro-B2R, you have a full 8 f-stop range, up to 1200 Ws, recycling in 0.04-1.8 s, flash durations of 1/2200-1/7400 s, and built-in radio sync. The unit measures just 24x17x23 cm (9.5"x6.7"x9"), weighs only 12 kg (26 lbs), and provides up to 200 flashes at 1200 Ws per interchangeble battery charge. The Pro-B2 version comes without radio sync.

Bigger

With a 40 percent larger reflector area than the previous largest model, the new Giant Reflector 300 is the biggest light shaping tool Profoto has ever produced. Measuring a full three meters (10 ft.) across, the Giant Reflector 300 can provide the photographer with a seven square meter wall of crisp silver surface. That means a whole new way of working with large subject areas.

Improved light quality

The Giant Reflectors 180, 240, and 300 all feature the sought-after deep parabolic shape for true parallel light output. The reflectors are made out of 20 sections, more than double that of the former models. The result? Brighter and more evenly lit subjects, plus a substantial gain in precision when shaping the light.

Easy to handle

All new Profoto Giants can be easily unfolded and folded.

Very ruggedized

The new Giants are all built for heavy-duty use during intense photography sessions.

Come in more models

With the introduction of both extra-large parabolic reflectors and the cost-efficient and portable Giant Whites, the range of Giants has been greatly extended. In other words, there is a Profoto Giant to suit every possible situation.

Brand new Giants, brand new bag

All Profoto Giants come with a newly designed semi-hard bag, holding one folded reflector and all accessories. The new bag is made of ruggedized nylon with padding on all sides and a hard aluminum enforced base plate. To better fit all seven Profoto Giants, the Profoto Giant bags come in four different sizes: S, M, L and XL.
