General Information
Whether you need emergency service or routine periodic maintenance on your Profoto electronic flash units, MAC Group is eager to give you personal and prompt service. Our award winning team of professionals is dedicated to making service and repair a pleasant experience.

Before sending your equipment for repair we invite you to call our service department for a remote diagnosis. This step will often save time and expense of shipping and return.

Write a letter of explanation
Be sure to write a letter indicating the specific nature of the problem or service requested. Please be clear. The more information we have, the better able we will be to service your equipment properly.

Unapproved estimates
If estimates are not approved within 60 days, or the repair estimate is rejected, the products will be returned U.P.S. ground, with a C.O.D.
charge to cover shipping and handling (see shipping costs chart for prices).

Return shipping
Shipping, insurance and handling charges will be added to all prices for U.P.S. ground shipment. See table below. Additional charges may
apply for extra heavy shipments.

Flash units beyond reasonable repair
When final estimated labor and parts costs exceed 50% of the price of a new product, we consider the old product to be beyond reasonable
repair, and will accept it for a 15% goodwill credit against the selling price of new replacement equipment. Making this exchange will require specific authorization by you.

Impact damage
Products with impact damage require individual estimates and may be subject to re-estimate once the extent of damage has been determined
by disassembly and examination.

Repair warranty
Repaired equipment is subject to a 90 day limited warranty, covering only re-repair if necessary and not consequential damages. See general statement regarding limited warranty.

Expedited service
48-hour rush service, for both in and out-of-warranty repairs, is available at an extra charge of $30.00. Please call us in advance of making
your shipment with the shipping details. For this service, packages and letters must be clearly marked: 48-HOUR RUSH.
