Sculpting light where silence speaks
” In the quiet, breathing green rainforest of Brazil’s Mata Atlântica—an ecosystem far less known than the Amazon, yet every bit as ancient, as intricate, and even more endangered—I’m shaping a new art and book project unlike anything I’ve done before. This place hums with life found nowhere else on Earth, a mosaic of species clinging to the last fragments of a once-vast kingdom. To echo its complexity, I need total creative freedom—a symphony of tools that allow me to sculpt with light, shadow, and silence. With Profoto as part of my process, I can respond to the forest’s shifting moods with precision and intuition. In a realm where the extraordinary is everyday, I want every frame, every word, to carry the weight and wonder of what’s at stake.”
