As soon as I saw the edge mask on the new foldable softboxes, I knew I wanted to create this shot of my daughter. Well, not this specifically, the cinderella dress was her idea, but I thought the edge mask would make for a great backgorund and nice crisp rim lights. With the size of the softbox, the backgorund was pretty small, so it needed to be a really tight crop, but for this image it worked really well.
Who does't love a 1 light setup? This shot of my daughter was just a simple one light backlit image where I used the edge mask on the new 2x3' Profoto Softbox Rectangular. There was a white v-flat out front to create just a little bit of fill.
